Lemongrass
Lemongrass, also known as Cymbopogon citratus, is a perennial grass native to tropical Asia. The leaves and stalks of the plant are used for medicinal and culinary purposes. Lemongrass has been traditionally used to help reduce symptoms of headaches, migraines and to help reduce symptoms of pain, it is believed to have analgesic properties. Lemongrass is also traditionally used to help improve digestion and to help reduce symptoms of bloating and gas, it is believed to have carminative properties. It is also believed to have anti-inflammatory properties and may help to reduce pain and inflammation. Lemongrass is also traditionally used to help reduce symptoms of respiratory issues such as asthma and bronchitis, it is believed to have expectorant properties.
