White Oak bark, also known as Quercus alba, is a tree native to North America. The bark of the tree is used for medicinal purposes. White Oak bark has been traditionally used as an astringent to help reduce symptoms of diarrhea, it is believed to have tannins that can help to reduce inflammation in the gut.
